Boko Haram is a terrorist and a jihadist terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria. Reports also have it that they are also active in Chad, Niger and northern Cameroon.
However, their attacks have been mostly prevalent in Nigeria, precisely Borno State. Credible media have it that thousands of innocent Nigerians have lost their lives, while many have been displaced from their homes as a result of this insurgent group.
It could be recalled that The recent massacre of innocent rice farmers in Zabarmari community of Jere local government in Nigeria has no doubt affected every soul, as many now want an end to Boko Haram menace that has been troubling the country' s peace in more than a decade now.
However, a Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) have now been introduced by Borno State Government and this ciuld spell doom for Boko Haram.
The JJT is a non military personnel, mostly local people who have the courage and commitment to augment military efforts in the war against the dreaded terrorists group known as Boko Haram.
The members of the Civilian Joint Task Force have now been supported with fighting tools, vehicles and kits by the government and other non governmental organizations.
Like in the pictures in this article, you can see that they now contribute a lot in the war against Boko Haram through their zeal and patriotism as they go out every day to hunt for terrorists.
The civilian Joint Task force members are driven by the selfless aim to defend their families, relatives and friends against insurgents and other social vices troubling Borno state. These people are fearless and ready to sacrifice their lives in defense of their families.
The members of the Civilian Joint Task force (JTF) of Maiduguri are in collaboration with soldiers of the Nigerian Army, hunting amd storming bushes and forests around the outskirts of Borno state to hunt down members of the dreaded terrorists group Boko Haram.
Their patriotism is legendary and worth reckoning! One would say, " Wahala for any Boko Haram terrorist from now on! "
These people have left their families and loved ones in search of terrorist groups in the bush and this is a step to end Boko Haram in Nigeria.
